Never
in my wildest imagination na mararating kong mag isa ang isang lugar na noon ay
hanggang pangarap lang.
Arrived
at Suvarnabhumi Airport from Manila Philippines at 9:30 am. Philippines is
1hour ahead kaya parang ang haba ng byahe. From the airport, go to the ground
floor, gate 8, you can easily see bus/van ticketing information. Magkakatabi
lang sila inside airport building. Its up to you where you go, Pattaya or
Bangkok/Kaosan Road. Since yung hotel ko were not replying how to get in their
hotel, I asked the information from the second floor and they pointed the first
floor dahil doon ko daw makikita ang mga ticketing ng bus/van. My hotel is
located in somewhere, 20minutes away from Kaosan road, which is my target place
to go. So I decided to buy a ticket for 100 baht going Koasan Road. Buti na
lang, sa bookings.com, may mga hotels na no need payment muna pag nagbook ka ng
hotel, so I easily abandoned the no reply hotel.

The
van dropped us in the center of Koasan Road after 1hr of travel, and lots of
hostels, hotel, dormitory to choose.. Kaosan road is a center of backpackers,
lots of foods, exotic foods, night market and partying.

At dahil im tired,
hungry and sweaty, pumasok na ko sa hostel inn kung saan ako napatapat. I
checked-in in Sawasdee Inn, it was cheaper than my original booked hotel. I
paid 1,200 baht for 2 nights-3days stay. Hotel is a bit old, don’t mind the
messy hallway, the important is the clean room. Aircon is working, the heater
as well and a free breakfast! Nag refresh lang ako saglit then bumaba na from
my room. I asked if they have a city map and luckily, they gave me one.. I
realized, ang lapit lang ng grand palace and Wat Pho so I decided to just walk.

After 10 minutes of walking, I was in front of The Grand Palace gate at
nakihalo na ko sa dami ng turista. The entrance is expensive but it just happens
once in my life so I purchased 500baht of entrance fee. I roam around for
almost 3 hours dahil sa laki ng lugar. I went out of the palace when I got
tired. I headed to Wat Pho Temple and paid another entrance fee.

It
was nearly 6pm when I headed back to Kaosan Road, people are coming out from
their hotels, street foods, clothing stores, bars are finally ready and open. I
tried their pancit for 50baht, unluckily, I forgot to take note the name lol.
Di ko naubos, ambilis makabusog but it was tasty. I also tried the Coconut ice
cream as my dessert for 40baht and I was
satisfied.

I walk around to sight see after dinner, and enjoyed my eyes in
beautiful things I’ve seen.. I noticed, day tours/travel tours are in
everywhere so I scouted an affordable day tour. You can find 500-2,500bhat
whole day tour prices, depende sa packages. If you are in a tight budget like
me, I chose the lowest price.
After
a wholeday tour arrangement, I went back to my hotel already.
