Capones & Nagsasa Adventure

Zambales Adventure
Nagsasa Falls, Capones Island.. hmm haven’t heard those place yet? Well, It is located in Brgy. Pundaquit, San Antonio Zambales.

It's Holy Week and my travel buddies planned a getaway vacation even just a couple of days. And we chose Zambales. It will not cost you a lot coz you don’t have to. For 10 people you can spend even just 500-1000 pesos per head because the Boat Package is just only 2,500-3000 + contribution for foods etc. And it depends if you want to stay in Hotels or just camp along the seashore. We did both :)

What to bring?
·         Tent – much better if you bring your own than rent it. Its not practical.
·         Portable butane stove
·         Canned goods
·         Purified water
·         Junkfoods
·         Swimwear
·         Sports shoes or running shoes
·         Medicine kit
·         Flashlight
·         Garbage bag of course
·         Tissue paper
·         And CAMERA

This is not actually all my group but we shared a boat since its big and to less from our budget. Our way to Capones Island.

This is the Capones Light house. According to google, Capones Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located in Capones Island off the coast of Brgy. Pundaquit, San Antonio, in the province of Zambales. The light guide international vessels coming from the north to northwest towards Subic Bay or to Corregidor Island Lighthouse at the entrance of Manila Bay. It has first-order lenses when it was fist lit on August 1, 1890.
Looks creepy right? but its actually not.. its just a short tunnel.
I require rubber shoes or beach footwear because you can't missed the short trekking.
This is the ruins of the lighthouse. Sad to say, it needs a lot of development on this place despite of the great view from the top.

Ang babae sa bintana I might say. lol

I can't totally missed going up to the lighthouse! This is my first time actually to reach this island but to tell you honestly, i've been to Pundaquit a hundred times! Since my Mom's siblings living here :) I can only see this island from far.

Finally this is the campsite in Nagsasa Falls. We were not able to visit the falls for the reason we are out of time, 3-4 hours walking from our campsite and it was 2pm already to push the plan. So we decided to trek.

My group.. we're not complete in the photo because the other decided to prepare for dinner and to look for our valuables.

The sunset view from where we are.

The perfect view of the NATURE.
